Teghpreet is a high school graduate from Indraprastha International School,
located in New delhi India. After completing his schooling in India, he moved to
Ohio in United States. Throughout his school life, he was engaged in a variety of
tech related activities such as founding his own computer science community initiative
called Techbees. He manages a diverse team and desires to make computer science
education more accesible to students.
He was also the Founding Member and secretary of
Tech Mobius (Tech Society) and organised the school's annual TechFest. He also served
as the President of Model UN Club and as the Debate Team Captain.
Teghpreet is now a First-Year Student at Georgia Institute of Technology
as a Computer Science major. Skilled in Python Libraries such as Pandas, numpy,
Matplotlib, Seaborn and tkinter, he has interned in Skilligence EdTech and built a project on
e-Bank Management System. He is also interested in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence with past
internships at The Sparks Foundation.
He is interested in the strong intersection of business,
entrepreneurship, and technology and was a student at Google Startup School 2022, learning
product, and design strategy, Google cloud technologies, marketing techniques and leadership.
He carries his strong love for technology at Georgia Tech as well. He is passionate about integrating themes like social justice and education with technology. One area of social good where technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning can be strongly applied is education to make education more accesible and equitable to the masses. Considering social and econic justice, he is curious about the impact of big tech in stabilitising economic equality. Besides, he aims to get involved with clubs like Bits of Good at GT to apply principles of computing in social good, thereby creating a positive impact using computer science.
